I have to be honest and say that I may be the greatest packer of all time. Why am I talking about packing? Because I'm DONZO here in Vietnam! Woohoo. Thursday I make my way up to Hoi-An for a day of relaxation, Friday I fly out to Singapore with a one night layover, and Saturday I leave for the US! I requested vacation so I could fly straight to NJ but we'll see what they say. I'm going to call them tonight and see. If they say no... then it's off to the windy city! Regardless, here's my list of American things that I want to do, eat, miss, whatever.. (in no particular order). And as glorious as this list sounds, I really want to share these things with my beloved friends and family!
hello friends, it's been a while since I've updated. something about blogging makes it harder the longer you go without doing it. i guess there's just so many jumbled thoughts that you don't know what to write or where to start.
there have been many things I've wanted to share with you all since my last post but unfortunately, I was too lazy to update. anyway, pretty much since my last update the only things that have happened were a trip to Singapore and work. this past weekend, I had a nice relaxing trip up to hoi-an (pictures on facebook soon) where I became a certified scuba diver, finally ate some good food, and bought a north face bag for $8 and 15 dvds each for a $1. of course the bag is fake and the dvds are burned but oh well.
as for work, things are going well. the project is moving along really smoothly and should hopefully continue that way until the end which will hopefully be sometime between 9/30 and 10/15. (side note: weird seeing dates like that cause everywhere outside the US, they write the dates like 30/9 and 15/10) half of our project team is gonna be released early, as soon as the end of this week but that doesn't include me. but it is a sign that things are coming to an end eh? afterwards, hopefully ill end up on a project that isn't totally in the middle of no where.
oh, some GREAT news. I found a christian here! he's a waiter at one of the restaurants we go to and he speaks decent english. one of my coworkers told me that he's pretty hardcore christian so I'm gonna meet up with him these week. pray with me that it'll be able to be a relationship of accountability and mutual encouragement. :)
one more thing I wanted to share, why is that guys don't really blog? what's up with that??
